Isn't this exactly what Morrison has been doing one blaming everyone else rather than doing the job he was elected to do. Reducing the public service and increasing the number of advisers and spin doctors in his employ? Didn't he coin the term "on the water matters" and refuse to answer when questioned on the grounds of "national security". That wall of silence simply allowed for greater corruption and obsfacation to flourish.

 Without Murdoch's quasi outsourced government Media pointing the finger at Rudd for telling the truth or yelling "look over there" at China to blame Morrison's incompetence and corruption would stand out like an erupting volcano. We have an ineffective media watch dog silenced in even reporting the number of complaints against Newscorp and Sky for their false reporting and dangerous misinformation. Had we we just might just have a Democracy rather than being run by an oliargarchy. 

China kicked Murdoch out. The UK almost did and the US foolishly allowed him in and now wish they hadn't. Rudd a lone voice has currently replaced our media watch dog who has been fed drugged steak and hobbled silenced unable to even publish the number of complaints against Murdoch media let alone what thay are. While ABC these past 8 years has been defunded by this current government and Murdoch gifted and allowed to flourish as the outsourced government voice. Meanwhile we have been rorted, robo-copped, wage-raped, and blamed for every criminal act this government and it's masters have been free to perform in plainsight and slapped on the wrist when caught. Yesterday's example Woodside's $40 mill theft from its employees super fund an accident? No, totally predictable committed in broad daylight these past 8 years and now deemed an accident.

Andrew Bolt claims to be the spokesperson for Australian values, yet he a sounding board for American ones instead evidence on just how much he wants to impress his boss Rupert Murdoch. Justice is an empirical process adhered to by Britain and Australia. Americans put on the other hand hold "free speech" as "faith", more a religious principle than Justice. "Free Speech" is the faith not to be tested Justice holds second place. Well, Bolt's value was tested in Australia and he was found guilty of racial vilification. He would have been found guilty in the UK but possibly innocent in America, and he so wishes we were American.
He does the same with a criticism of the lengthy procedures that tested George Pell's guilt empirically. Bolt simply throws the baby out with the bathwater. Justice as a process of testing evidence is ditched with a right to say whatever he wants. To proclaim what he wants over and above Australia's value of empirically testing what we all except is a method to arrive at Justice. Bolt doesn't offer more than  "faith" "and a top-down "religious" like judgement. It's as if he has the right to a "contempt of court" an illegal act here yet ignored in the US. He works for an American mega-corporation. The man isn't Australian and in no way represents us. (ODT)

One need only ask why Andrew Bolt the proud Australian has publically stated his retirement dream is to leave Australia and live on a barge in the Socialist  Netherlands? A country with a political and social system diametrically the opposite of what he preaches the ideal to be. 

China-bashing Lebanese bashing Muslim Bashing and African bashing by Bolt has really uplifted Australia's reputation as a welcoming nation he truly does sound like a son of Aalsmeer Dutch who claims to fame during WW2 was hunting down Jews, Gypsies and Gays. The Dutch killed more Dutch Jews 80% than even the Germans did.

If as Bolt says China is as bad as he says it is 25 million Chinese would be the perfect citizens to defend us from China after all we allowed Dutch Germans and Italians to come to Australia post-WW2 and look what we got Andrew Bolt

The Saturday Paper sent me a rude and hostile set of questions about my challenging of  "Aboriginal historian" Bruce Pascoe. I have sent it this response, with questions of my own. It includes fascinating extracts from Charles Sturt's account that Pascoe didn't include, and which challenge Pascoe's claim that Aborigines were "prosperous" farmers.

COLUMN What inspired writer Bruce Pascoe to call himself Aboriginal? Was it the Canberra Times reviewer in 1988 who said his novel Fox  would have been better if Pascoe wasn’t white? “Pascoe is, after all, imagining the psyche of an Aboriginal person... [but] writes   as a white man..."  It was around then that Pascoe identified as Aboriginal.

"Aborigines" one brush a single generalisation with which to tar a diverse number of tribes and cultures but then that's what the parents of this Australian did in the Netherlands to the Jews Frum non-Frum Orthodox, Liberal even those Christians with a trace of Jewish ancestry. No matter what if you were defined as a Jew, you were a Jew. 

Andrew Bolt praises himself more often than not of being a "friend of the Jews" yet was found guilty of "racial vilification"  here he is behaving in the same way as he did back then and as his ancestors did in Aalsmeer.

In the meantime, Australian archeologists are finding evidence that Indigenous Australians weren't just defined by a single culture as Andrew Bolt has. Union Busting is more than a sport to conservative governments. Over the years they have by and large been emasculated, but not so Conservative Lobby Groups, and Right-Wing associations nor their funding. Hidden donations to political parties by way of free advertising have all but been ignored. 

The regulation and corruption of the finance sector and it's policing have always remained very much on the backburner of this governments interests.  The misuse of MPs expenses just a slap on the wrist unless a traitor like Peter Slipper is found. Here we have Angus Taylor very central to the Watergate scandal using the conservative bludgeon against a union boss John Sekta. A bludgeon not used against him. How is it tremendous efforts were made to excuse Taylor of any involvement in the $80 mill deal that rewarded his friends and associates. Sekta, on the other hand, and his whole union are under siege for a case of what "bad manners and behaviour".The Liberal Party is riddled with inappropriate behaviour.

 A bit like the police is doing to football supporters who are being fingered for barracking badly. If misogyny is a crime shouldn't Andrew Bolt, and Tim Blair be arrested for their bullying media attacks on "frightbats" women they simply don't like? Haven't they complained of the same thing that men are disadvantaged in the cause of gender equality? They certainly don't receive the iron-fist that this government and MSM media are handing out to a Unionist,

There are right-wing media that tells its listeners that Labour is corrupt and lying, which they are. There are a leftish media that tells its viewers that Liberals are corrupt and lying, which they are. The only people who admit that both of these things are true; however are 'the crazy far-left'" — the real members, in other words, of the fact-based community. Let Setka Union members decide not Angus Taylor, the LNP or the Courts. (ODT)

 Labor party members and supporters in recent times have come to more deeply appreciate one of the iron laws of politics: there are no silver medals in federal election campaigns. That gold medal of a fairer society, and a fight against trickle-down economics was within our grasp. Now we know Labor faces three more years of hard work, deep thought and a tough training schedule if we are to have a Labor government in 2022. We can’t be diverted by conservative post-election ideological spin. The time for anger and grieving is over. The time for recovery and potential victory begins. Let’s pick ourselves up again and get better not bitter.
