Tonight we saw the power of Israel's propaganda machine live on Ch 9 news that Gaza 's balloons need to be countered with the fiercest technology that Israeli and Western technology can produce outside of a nuclear bomb. 200 dead Gazans and 29,000 wounded compared with 1 Israeli dead and1 wounded at the border alone doesn't begin to account for the Gazan's dead in the past 12 months.
What we are seeing is an excuse a deflection, distortion and smokescreen given the world to what has actually happened. The world is being sold a pup for $$ and domestically Israelis even a greater myth of fear and danger that doesn't exist. This escalation of Israeli media BS is for election purposes only, and private media corporations have eagerly got their hands out and dirtied by the filthy lucre. There is no fear and danger that Israelis are facing from the Palestinians enclosed in the planet's largest open-air concentration camp just as there was no fear or insecurity the Germans faced from the Jewish Ghettos either.

Socialism isn’t fundamentally about public ownership of private resources. It is about collective action in pursuit of common goals, where private action has destroyed or damaged the common good. It is demonized by concentrated private wealth precisely because it is so effective at redressing so many of the problems that concentrated private wealth has inflicted on society and the world.
The Coalition has spent three years mistaking Murdoch for the mainstream and Alan Jones for the man in the street, it narrowcast and forgot to broadcast. Enjoying the ease of talking to the minority that already agreed with it, the government neglected the millions that did not.
To win a general election, it's not enough to impress a clique. You need to win over a country. The conservatives didn't do it alone. Malcolm Turnbull, the great progressive, was the governments' notional leader during the long detour to the right, and the moderates in the government silently acquiesced.

Turnbull agreed to govern on the conservatives' terms, yet even then they were not content and tossed him aside when they could stand him no longer.

Bolt doesn't conflate State Liberals with Federal. He doesn't conflate One Nation with the Liberals but claimed the Liberal base boosted them when Abbott was rolled. So are they his True Liberal Party today the real heartland of the Liberal Party? After all Abbott, the converted Warmist would give them his preferences. Is he about to support One Nation as the Real Liberal Party he's certainly an apologist for all their debacles, isn't he?
This election as he's actually trying to suggest the NSW Green's internal divisions reflect the Federal Party? Yet he denies that the NSW Liberals mirror the Federal Party. He really is all over the shop when it comes to Politics, isn't he?

As for Peter Hartcher's article he hasn't really expanded on the fact that since Abbott was kicked from the PM's office the Liberal Party preoccupation has been with the tail trying to wag the dog. The tail and it's News Corp and it's 2GB boom box became what seemed the voice of the LNP when in fact it wasn't. But that noise captured their attention nevertheless and now much to their regret.
I don't believe Alan Jones was their only man in the street Ray Hadley and Mark Latham were too. You couldn't find a group of Bovver boy bullies greater than Jones, Hadley, Latham, Abbott, Dutton and Sky after Dark, could you? The LNP couldn't seem to forget they weren't their Australia. Well, it seems they weren't, and all are feeling the heat at the moment. Abbott is struggling in Warringah as too is Dutton in Dickson Jones's contract isn't certain, and Hadley is being shown up for what he is. Latham is the biggest hypocrite of a pollie and went for the money and Sky after Dark hasn't captured Australia the way Fox has in America, has it?
One wonders whether or not Bolt's peeved because he's been pulled from 2GB, his Blog and his Podcast which vanished last Sunday will it be MIA today as well?
BUT TWO BOYS ARE DEAD...

The Qld legal fraternity is asking a question that needs asking. Bolt has had to get 2 licences for his dogs to be regarded as a qualified pet owner $118, yet he was never required to get anything to be declared a suitable or responsible pet owner. There are plenty of irresponsible pet owners that have the money and responsible ones that don't but are punished. Bolt declares individuals need to be "responsible" alright on an equal playing field. But denies that the State has any responsibility to provide one for individuals only to blame them. If all individuals were actually universally guaranteed state support for a "living wage" "health" "housing" and "education" no matter their current status, then the dysfunctions Bolt points to as "individual responsibility" just might not have existed. He certainly heaps all care and responsibility on individuals in a class-divided society but has been heard to complain that he was the sole breadwinner in his family. If however, the State guaranteed all the members of Bolt's family the necessities of life maybe there might have been times when his wife would have walked out on him. Bolt while demanding "individual responsibility" also requires the reduction of state welfare and that it be handed to a fake and mythical promise of the trickle-down effect. Bolt has no regard for the circumstances of the case or where it fits in the broader scheme of things less it somehow might affect his class privilege.

The Left must think there aren't enough real racists and gun nuts to hate, so they invent more. First Al Jazeera funds a fake gun lobby, fooling One Nation. They demanded Sam Dastyari be kicked out of the Labour Party but, were only too ready to do the same as he did except the NRMA aren't as stupid to hand over money to them. As for the "Million Flag Patriots," I believe Bolt isn't or doesn't really care about them. What he does care about is that he might have been stung by the NYT to divulge information about the Murdoch family. Information that was his actual opinion which he wouldn't have disclosed if he knew it was to be a broad expose by the NYT. You see Bolt like Trump sees all investigative journalism that gives rise to critical thinking as dangerous. Anything that gives rise to promotes CT of any kind he regards as a threat and when, where and if it does occur it needs to be reduced to Fake News, Opinion, and Propaganda but at all cost steered away from any notion of reality. In it's simplified form it what Trump has been doing most his life but since entering Politics has been supported by Rupert Murdoch whose tabloids and Fox News business models have only been designed to do war in the fields of PR, Propaganda, and Opinion for the monied class. The reduction of Science, Experts, Statistics and Data to the level of subjectivity turns the world of what was once news and information into little more than a grab for the biggest bullhorn, and Murdoch has the biggest in the English speaking world. It's packaged and sold as news whereas the rest are fake. Their biggest problem is Australia because we have the ABC their greatest hate. Their greatest fear Data, investigative journalism and Critical Thinking. No need for facts in a Murdochian world is there? Greg Sheridan of The Australian wrote that ‘white racist terrorism… can never occupy territory’ — news that I trust will come of considerable surprise to Indigenous Australians or any of the victims of brutal colonialist expansion. Our media are responsible for the ubiquity of organised racist messaging in Australia through their ongoing broadcasting of nationalist stunts and rallies. They are responsible for the difficulties that community and activist groups have faced in responding to this violent nationalist threat, through promoting the reductive “both sides are as bad as each other” narrative. And Andrew Bolt has been at the forefront. He lay silent for 3-4 days after Christchurch only to come up with the equivalence argument Trump put forward in Charlottesville, and he continues to do so in most of what he calls "free speech " debates that aren't debates at all eschewing any call to history data or evidence. Now, in 2019, after Christchurch, it is no longer entertaining or illuminating. I wanted no part of it. MFP’s done now. I demand ethical restrictions, critical thinking and higher standards from our media in the way they report on organised racism from now on. It may save lives. Andrew Bolt doesn't. He shuns critical evidence-based analysis for a yelling match preferably without the other side present.

The post is long so firstly knowing Bolt it's meant to confuse and not really be read-only his position needs to come through but not based on evidence. So let's see what he is offering. He rejects Kaufman's statement that Multiculturalism will win out. Bolt, yes Andrew Bolt disputes that there is any such thing as a White Culture. That sentence alone is contrary to what he's been fighting for the past 20 if not more years a White Western Christian Australia. What we start to get a hint of is Bolt is twisting words and the parameters of an argument to somehow deny Kauffman's case and generalisation drawn from the evidence. Bolt's personal one is really only anti- multicultural because it draws really on class rather than culture. Bolt who says one thing one day and another the next depending on the side being spoken to or about.
Again, setting aside my objection to the notion that whites feel their race or "white culture" is under attack, rather than their Western culture, there is something in this:"Bolt. How often have we heard Bolt tell us whites and the core beliefs of white Australians are under threat and particularly under danger of Multiculturalism as a whole the particulars of which he points out are enclaves of peoples with cultures steeped in non-western ideas. He claims colour and religion doesn't matter, but central is the Protestant Ethic individual and free market competition in a Democracy. Simply the core values of a multicultural capitalist democracy which the speed of immigration can't accommodate worries him. To try and sound convincingly tolerant he allows for Jews and British trained Indians who both have a Mercantile belief to be ok despite being in Bolt's disparaging term of others as "Clannish".
Political moderates Liberal and Labor loudly declare us to be the most successful multicultural settler nation in the world why because most immigrants the majority believe in our Institutions the separation of powers the freedom of religion and our broadly free market system that claims a general sense of opportunity for all. They came because of those beliefs in the individual opportunity for all in a place of diverse cultures.
Bolt's lie and smokescreen are he uses the diversity of Cultures, not Western Civilisation's principle of individualism to point out who does and doesn't belong. He points to religion, colour, language, education to the cultural differences of peoples who believe in the chance to make a better life for themselves and their children in a country with Democratic principles. Kauffman says Bolt's coming from a place of understandable prejudice where white culture is being threatened. I claim it's worse and purely political. He's really coming from a place where his economic class is being threatened. All his arguments for assimilation and against current immigration are for the intake of migrants more likely to vote Liberal and not Labour. Kauffman's argument doesn't begin to address where Bolt is coming from. That the growing working class in a Multicultural country will eventually grow and unite to undermine the power structure that now exists and Bolt favours and is favoured by. In fact, he supports a class he's not really a member of but has been gifted privileges by.
