WHAT THE ABC'S GAME? SOFT ON MUSLIMS, HARD ON CHRISTIANS

My editorial from The Bolt Report  - the ABC latest series on of religion and domestic violence has falsely portrayed Christianity as dangerous to women and falsely portrayed Islam as safe for women. What better evidence that it is at war with our culture?

Bolt made a fool of himself when he made his feeble attempt to attack Julia Baird and the ABC he even had to turn on the hierarchy of the Anglican Church for publicly agreeing with Baird and apologizing for the way the church treated the wives of Christians who beat their wives. The only way Bolt has tried not to appear foolish was to act like a psychopath. Psychopaths can't accept a loss of any kind and refuse to see any error in what they are saying. They have no empathy or understanding of what's going on and will maintain their position no matter what. Bolt ticks all the boxes1) Baird wasn't promoting an opinion nor was she reporting only an aspect of Wilcox's research findings. She qualified that quite clearly but Bolt chose to ignore it.
2)The ABC wasn't attacking any faith by allowing her to report a studies facts and throwing the information up for discussion
3)The fact is that discussion and Anglican Bishop not only agreed with her but he apologized. 
4) Bolt himself spends an inordinate amount of time telling us Aborigines are Australia's most likely wife beaters but he fails to mention that in the main they are Christians. Making Bolt an idiot for both agreeing with Baird and maligning the Christian faith unwittingly and refusing to accept he's wrong. No like a psychopath Bolt continues to say everybody else is wrong.

Well, two can play at that one could imagine the Council in Israel as well if an application for a mosque were to be made by Palestinian Israelis in a country where it's Right wing PM Netanyahu has been trying to orchestrate a plan to remove 20% of it's citizens from the country. It won't be long before Bolt can't be seen to be alone in his mugging of Baird LGBTQI's because he's running out of ideas. When will he be calling in the heavy mouthpieces like Thomas and Dean for support? They are the combined hate Australia group who try to shift the notion of left to include the majority of Liberals, Academics, Media and even the Arts community of the Nation. They hate anything they chose to and run media campaigns like Goebells did in Germany against the Jews. Trust is makes no sense. Murdoch media suggest more than 5000 Fairfax and the Age estimated 15000. History tells us Murdoch media tend to be biased in favor of the government and therefore low in their estimates. However I'll wait to see if the ABC provides us with figures. As there's is no urgency.  Historic reliability however doesn't favor Murdoch's Sky News.

 

Tax take can’t keep rising like this

John Howard with his boom time largess dropped tax revenue from 24.5% of GDP  to 22% of GDP had he not there would be no deficit. If Hockey keeps producing budgets that allows the wealth gap to widen he will simply find electorate opposition. Compulsory voting makes Australians far more politically aware than democracies without the compulsory vote. Even Rupert Murdoch sees the need for the wealth gap to be controlled in order for a  Democracy to function. Corporations don't desert or stop investing in places simply because of the tax rates they don't turn their backs where there is profit and security.

  Time for scrutiny on Labor

Typical deflection deflection deflection  of a Murdoch paid conservative hack Piers Ackerman. "Stop looking at Abbott he's trying to be inconspicuous and humbled. Turn your attention on the side shows. They are new to power and haven't even settled in yet. For heaven sake don't focus on Tony Abbott anymore." Ackerman doesn't report anything he and his ilk are crying foul but at the same time drawing attention to Abbott. Seems negative PR to me.

These paid hacks are unable to be professional journalists if they ever were  as News Corp is little more than a government cheer squad in hope of corporate favors when the time comes. It's  what Abbott wanted of the ABC to root for him, Team Abbott under the guise of Team Australia. 

I doubt Murdoch would be too pleased if that was the case because then there would no place for News Corp in Australian media.   Murdoch's interest in his alliance with the government is to see the media laws changed in favor of his business model. He would love to see the ABC broken up of course  but that's too hard to ask . If it were possible he would only want the profitable parts  like digital media for one. If he could achieve that he could unburden himself  of  his unprofitable print media.  The government could get rid of  a professionally critical eye that was designed to work for all of us. Aunty asks the questions needed to be asked by any responsible media hard questions that governments don't like.

Scrutiny isn't about the side show it's about the main game and Ackerman sees looking backwards and sideways as a means to take heat off Abbott.  At the moment that will soon become the corporatisation  of Australia giving corporations the key to the door. All of this is being done in secret and is happening as we  speak and it's called the TPP. We saw a glimpse of it when the previous Victorian Liberal government signed a side agreement with a corporation allowing it to sue the Victorian taxpayers for a forecasted profit. Why do what the people want when you can make profit for doing nothing at all. That agreement was a secret one as well. All Murdoch's Ackermans and Bolts will be pleading for us and the ABC to take our eyes off the ball.

 

Contrite Abbott gets another break

This is now the year of vote buying the real year of the budget  blow out. Of course it will be Labor's fault. Spend on those marginal seats do nothing for the Labor seats. Blame the unions but don't mention their members only constitute 12% of the Labor force. Don't mention the fragmentation of Labor and it's casualisation which not shown in the unemployment figures. Breaking down the workforce by stealth. How can workers apply for loans when they are working three jobs on shifts and haven't a clue what their hours will be? Banks won't talk to them. Haven't we seen the ads for quick short term loans? Why do so many live from hand to mouth on a two week cycle. The the money Radio Rentals collects from Center Link $90 mill. Contrite, Abbott isn't interested in the problems of the average Australians his ear is only open to the powerful ones.
