News Corporation employs Right-Wing Broadcasters providing them with a platform ensuring the inequality of speech. Their Social Media Platforms not only advocate conservative, and extreme right-wing wing views. They monitor out most opposing opinions which they are entitled to do. However, they also simply lie when they say they provide an arena for fair and balanced discussion in a no-spin zone. They don't it's all spin.
In return for this disclosure to
the public, in our interests, the whistle blower has today been doxxed
by Chip le Grand, who has described his disclosures as a “hit job”
against the government. Le Grand also does a good job of maligning the
whistle blower in an attempt to discredit him. It is not a huge stretch
to speculate that le Grand and the Sydney Morning Herald under the
chairmanship of former Liberal treasurer, Peter Costello, are acting in
the interests of a besieged LNP government, and not the public.
Regardless of your personal opinion of the man, there can be no doubt
that he acted in the public interest in taking his story, with videos
and texts as proof, to van Onselen. Whatever his other motives are, and
is there one among us without complex motives for much of what we do, he
acted in the public interest, which is all that need concern us as
citizens struggling to deal with the outrages visited upon us by a
government entirely bereft of all morality.
Oprah

Like Trump Morrison has found his enemy with which to divide the nation. He foudn his China Virus, His China raiders , his China spies. Sinophobia has replaced Asylum Seekers, Islamophobia, Muslims, Africans, and even Immigration do become Morrison's political tool with which to divide the country. It doesn't matter what we do to Indigenous Australians. The Chinese do much worse Yet statistically we are the worst of the wealthiest nations when it comes to incarceration, housing , health and education.
The
federal government is considering tearing up a research deal that
experts say could allow the work of Australian scientists to be used by
the Chinese government.
Washington: Donald Trump is at odds with one of his
closest allies, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, over who was responsible
for the massive cyber-attack on the US government.
While Mr
Pompeo fell into line with the consensus that Russia orchestrated the
hack, Mr Trump suggested without evidence that China may have been the
culprit, and that it may have also helped rig the election in favour of
Joe Biden.
The Government is well and truly broken, says Peter Henning.
Accusing its own citizens of being “an enemy of the state” and
creating millions of enemies in its own region and around the world on a
range of issues suggests that representatives of the Morrison
Government bear comparison with the ministers of George III in 1774, who dismissed Edmund Burke with a shrug and a joke.
The bellowing of the Home Affairs minister, akin to Trump’s bellicose attacks
on all those he doesn’t like, stands in stark contrast to the inability
of his department to do anything constructive during any real threat to
Australia.
Australians like Adam Bandt and the Chinese-Australians gratuitously attacked by Eric Abetz aren’t “enemies of the state” and nor are those people who this Government likes to lock up for years on end.
But any solutions to the “state of mindlessness” which dominates the
crazy Versailles Canberra bubble can only occur through alternative
channels, such as state governments filling the void.
As Melbourne faces at least two more weeks of stage 4 restrictions, other nations have longer, harsher measures, including Chile, where many residents have lived in lockdown for six months. Their message to Melbourne: stay strong.
Coronavirus left Americans without a
single shared experience Instead, they're entering the eighth
month of an emergency, leaving little choice but to habituate to
the horror.
Other Americans give in to an all-or-nothing mindset,
arguing, for example, that masks should not be worn because they alone
can't stop the spread or that there's no possible middle ground between
freedom and lockdown.
And not far removed from this thinking is the idea that fear is not
warranted because the virus will go away soon — that there's a silver
bullet just around the corner.
If
he likes, Morrison can continue play-acting his role as the greatest
premier the country never had, dividing and occasionally conquering.
Those who support him already will cheer him on. But he is the Prime
Minister, governing at a time of almost unprecedented national crisis.
It will be terribly sad if he misses his opportunity to lead us all.

The Caravan of 600 Trump Praised PATRIOT PRAYER who really are they? (ODT)
In the wake of the shooting death over the weekend of a supporter of
the far-right group Patriot Prayer in Portland, Oregon, The New York
Times, USA Today, and MSNBC are papering over the intrinsically violent
nature of the group, its ties to white nationalism, and its history of
staging armed confrontations against anti-fascist activists. This lapse
is part of a larger pattern of mainstream media coverage that shies away
from calling out right-wing extremism.
Dr. Eric Feigl-Ding, senior
fellow at the Federation of American Scientists, called the "6%" meme
"a ludicrous misunderstanding and misinformation." "Basically, [they
are] arguing that if you die with COVID and have any risk factors, then
it somehow doesn't count as COVID," he told Salon. Feigl-Ding compared
the situation to that of cancer patients, who frequently have
compounding conditions that increase their risk of dying of cancer.
"Most cancer patients have many other risk factors, which by their
logic means a person didn't die of cancer if someone has anything else,"
he said.
Just as Andrew Bolt argues fentanyl killed George Floyd
not the policeman the right-wing try to use the 6% as proof that only
10,000 deaths have occurred in the US not 180,000. According to Bolt
kneeling on people's throats and having them tell you they can't breathe

If there is a clear lesson to be learned It seems clear that capitalist systems are incapable of handling pandemics the way socialist ones can. It's quite clear we need to change and change significantly not just for ourselves but for the reinstallment of the common good.

Australians are becoming sick of the hypocrisy of our Federal Government. …

Monday’s display, choreographed by the Adman Prime Minister, was another nauseating attempt at trying to appease an angry Australian public.
Josh Frydenberg starts with his personal attack on the Victorian Premier again, it’s time that the Federal Government realised that the more they attack Daniel Andrews the more the country will turn against the Federal Government and Daniel Andrews popularity will grow.
Our disgraceful Prime Minister and his pack of dogs are showing how desperate they are. Last week was the Belt and Road Initiative that blew up in their face when the Australian public discovered that Steven Ciobo had also signed a Memorandum of Understanding with China.
Before the BRI attack was the attack on quarantining in Victoria, which also showed Australians that the security companies involved are the preferred security companies of Morrison and Dutton. Australia pays them millions a year. Morrison and Dutton’s mates let Victoria down with their inexperienced security guards.
The Federal Government also tried to blame the unfortunate deaths in Private Aged Care Homes on the state government. That was another failed attacked because now everyone knows that Private Aged Care is the Federal Governments responsibility. Oops another monumental mistake by the Federal Government.
DOCTORS WARN DAN ANDREWS: LIFT YOUR DANGEROUS VIRUS BANS
A dozen doctors , surgeons and professors of medicine tell
Premier Daniel Andrews they oppose his devastating virus shut-down: "The
medical, psychological and social costs of the lockdown are
disproportionately enormous compared to the limited good being done."

Phishing for subs Andrew Bolt has taken a few days for someone, we don't know if it was Bolt himself, a producer, only someone at Newscorpse found a doctor. Not an authoritatively connected one, but one ready to declare the Andrews cure is worse than the disease.
Andrews, on the other hand, didn't go searching for personnel to support his policy it was determined from the data studied by not one but a number of experts all in agreement something Bolt disagrees. His evidenceless contrarian position is far more important, and by searching for a contrarian is according to Bolt sufficiently proven simply because it's arbitrarily and therefore a better one. Bolt's argument is hardly substantial a logical one or one have us stop and be believed.
We know what works. We know the Chinese have proved that a strict lockdown works and delivered the desired outcome. We know Bolt has no evidence where more effective ones have occurred. Where does Bolt suggest his solutions have been proved?

In the latest development, the New York Times reported this week the CDC has even been bypassed in its data collection, with the Trump administration ordering hospitals to send COVID-19 data directly to the White House.
Hospitals have instead been ordered to send all COVID-19 patient information to a central database in Washington DC.
This will have a range of likely knock-on effects. For starters, the new database will not be available to the public, prompting inevitable questions over the accuracy and transparency of data which will now be interpreted and shared by the White House.\
It is difficult to recall a previous public health emergency when political pressure led to a change in the interpretation of scientific evidence.
Despite the inevitable challenges that come with tackling a pandemic in real time, the CDC remains the best-positioned agency – not just in the US but the entire world – to help us manage this crisis as safely as possible.
It came as the number of confirmed US coronavirus cases climbed to an all-time high of more than 50,000 a day.
America is leading the world in the spread of the virus and deaths is leading the world in economic recovery and Trump now says the virus will just disappear. He's turned Swedish. Never mind he can't understand a word of it he doesn't understand English either.(ODT)
After days of record spikes in new COVID-19 cases and hospitals
warning they could run out of beds, President Donald Trump and the White
House sought to convey that all was well in the battle against the
coronavirus and efforts to get the US economy moving again.
The
number of confirmed coronavirus cases in the US climbed to an all-time
high of more than 50,000 per day on Thursday, with the infection curve
rising in 40 out of 50 states in a reversal that has largely spared only
the north-east.
