Fighting Fake News with REAL 7/12/21; Little Boy Blue no Booed! , Morrison shoots himself at Bathurst; Gladys did it in the bedroom with sicissors;

“We made sure someone else was sitting in the driver’s seat"

Make A Wish Foundation surprises terminally lazy little boy with lap at Bathurst

The booing has sent shockwaves through the Liberal Party this week, with many of them openly admitting that they thought they had the Supercar fan vote in the bag.

“We know he doesn’t follow the V8s,” they said.

“And then you see in him the fucking puffer vest and the fresh hat. Nothing is more uncool than a fresh hat. On top of all that shit, he’s wearing brown fucking boots. Not even Baxters, the rich cunt’s clip clipping around in his RMs with his beige chinos on,”

“Mate, I reckon Julia Gillard had more of a passing interest in the Supercars. Tony Abbott would’ve rather drank paint than gone to Bathurst, I’m sure of that but fuck me, I voted for that lunatic, that’s for fucking sure,”

“I mean, who is Scott Morrison? What does he actually like doing? You can just look at the bloke and know he just finds sport the most boring shit in the world but pretends to love it. You knew Johnny Howard loved his sport but he was fucking useless at it. Just a woeful sportsman but he could run a country – at least in my opinion,”

“With this ScoMo, who is he? He’s full of shit – which is worse than being a leftie.”

Federal ICAC

How dare LNP politicians be questioned, or their integrity be doubted by any Independent body other than the LNP itself. The LNP have set the standard. Could Morrison have set that any lower? Politicians have a hard job as it is and don't need it to be harder.  Royal Commissions are there to investigate the Left because unlike Morrison, Frydenberg, Dutton, Tudge, or Berejiklian Liberals the ALP lie and the Liberals attest to that and along with Morrison, Frydenberg and others sworn to it publicly on Sky, 2GB and 2AW and all the private media monkeys competing for their election advertising business..

So,what else is necessary to say other than Gladys didn't know?  The fact she didn't want to know or hear, what deals her boyfriend of 7 years was doing and was heard telling him is of no consequence.  With eyes wide shut she signed off on large grants for un-recommended and un-advised projects which had failed to win favor for years. She was heard to say "don't worry I'll fix it. Furthermore deals where commissions were hoped for were instructed not to be discussed.

It seems a common trait among Liberals Morrison also claimed he didn't know or want to even hear  his best friends were QAnon members. He even employed the family and expects us to believe that these besties who he holidayed with didn't have his ear. If true, it says a lot about Morrison and his attitude to mate-ship doesn't it? That it's merely transactional and never up close and personal. How Trump that sounds very much like a grifter rather than the true blue Australian mateship he projects on his photoshoots. Why would the Australian PM do laps at Bathurst when his party fucked the Australian motor industry? Any wonder he was loudly booed

Scott Morrison’s attacks on NSW’s ICAC and endorsement of embattled former premier Gladys Berejiklian to join federal politics have intensified, with the Prime Minister saying she would be a “great” candidate, despite an ongoing corruption investigation.Senior Liberals are escalating their public calls for Ms Berejiklian to switch from NSW politics to Canberra – despite a cloud hanging over her knowledge of corruption by ex-boyfriend Daryl Maguire – in the face of a huge community campaign from Warringah incumbent Zali Steggall. And even as the federal government stalls its plans for a Commonwealth integrity body, Mr Morrison has again attacked the NSW anti-corruption watchdog, hinting that an adverse finding against Ms Berejiklian wouldn’t scupper any bid for high office.“I think she would be great. The way that Gladys Berejiklian has been treated has been shameful,” PM Morrison said on Monday.gladys berejiklian icacMs Berejiklian gives evidence to ICAC in October.“I don’t call that justice.”

Let’s be clear here. It was Gladys that mixed work and play. It was Gladys that chose to keep the relationship secret rather than manage the conflict of interest transparently. It was Gladys that overruled departmental advice to, instead, award grant money to bolster her partner’s political standing. As Gladys so arrogantly said in her defence, “I don’t think it would be a surprise to anybody that we throw money at seats to keep them. At the end of the day, whether we like it or not, that’s democracy.” Pork barrelling is not illegal, but it certainly isn’t democracy either.

Fighting Fake News with REAL 11/10/21; Scott Morrison's fear of ICAC; Facebook & anonymous users; Net Zero by 2050; Trump's Biographer;

Framing an anti-corruption body as the bad guys is Orange Donnie-level gaslighting. The capo dei capi of the most corrupt federal government in our history is cashing in on the martydom of St Gladys d’Berejiklian, seeing a chance to sell his omertà as a virtue. Gladdy, his “very good friend“*, had been persecuted by ICAC, she was a victim – he would not be distracted from his good works by such unjust scrutiny. *not his very good friend Ever the opportunist who trades on punching down Smirko shortly thereafter took a populist dig at social media with some performative outrage at anonymous trolls, some of whom besmirch the reputations of the alleged rapists, the sex pests and stalkers, the sousers and spivs whose presence he relies upon to stay in power.

Smirko’s been selling farts as rainbows since his brief gig as a child actor. In spruiking NSW’s rampant Delta outbreak as the gold standard that is leading the way out of the pandemic he’s betting the house that the born-every-minute schmucks are as thick as the curtains in a ground floor bordello and that they outnumber those voters with either a conscience or a functioning cerebrum. The problem is that he may be right – the gushing over St Gladys has no doubt chuffed the PMO’s Goebbels-Riefenstahlists and their RWNJ pamphleteer chums from the Murdoch sewers.

facebook news ban

Does that mean journalists boosting the LNP will need to reveal their ” anonymous sources so often quoted when smearing Dan Andrews or suggesting IBAC leaks that he’s being investigated? Will Peter Costello be declared a “publisher” and be treated like Julian Assange. It seems a case of trying to sleepwalk Australia to fascism and insist Facebook and Twitter join him.

The federal government may try to force Facebook to gather more identification information on their users and hand it to authorities if asked, as part of Scott Morrison’s latest square-up to the social media giants. It potentially opens the door for the government to consider a controversial plan for Australians to provide 100 points of identification to keep their social media accounts – a suggestion that privacy advocates condemned. Prime Minister Scott Morrison and Deputy Prime Minister Barnaby Joyce last week suggested that Facebook and Twitter could be treated as publishers under Australian law.

net zero

Angus Taylor has already begun to run the coal and gas washing schemes as we complain with funds guaranteed to fossil fuel miners when loans aren't extended by the banks.

A poorly executed long-term target, however, is meaningless at best and a greenwashing ploy to prolong the fossil fuel industry at worst. It is almost certain that Morrison’s target will fall into the latter category.

Any commitment to net-zero emissions by 2050 is a fraud if gas and coal are allowed to expand.

Trump biographer ridicules Donald for being branded a 'loser' after 2020 loss and being bumped from Forbes

Trump revived Archie Bunker without really trying because he is Archie and a time will come to put Archie back with Roseanne as they aren't 21rst Century America.

"All in the Family" is touted as the series that brought reality to prime-time TV entertainment. The lead character, Archie Bunker, is a loudmouthed, uneducated bigot who believes in every stereotype he has ever heard. His wife, Edith, is sweet but not the sharpest knife in the drawer.

At a rally in Iowa on Saturday, Trump proclaimed that he was trying to “keep America great,” but that America isn’t great right now. “Well, he really is kind of babbling and incoherent, but that’s what people show up for,” he explained. “So, when he says make America great again, again, you have to ask, well, if he did it the first time, it really wasn’t a very good job. Eight months later, it needs to be redone. It didn’t quite stick, this greatness that he gave us.” “It was over nine months. The shelf life on the greatness wasn’t very long, I guess,” said Acosta.

A group of former US officials and experts has written to the US president, Joe Biden, warning the deal could threaten US national security by encouraging hostile nations to obtain highly enriched uranium (HEU). At the same time, the former Australian prime minister Malcolm Turnbull says if Australia does buy the submarine reactors without a domestic nuclear industry – and therefore the nuclear expertise – it will be “more plug and pray” than “plug and play”. The former Nato deputy secretary general Rose Gottemoeller has called on Australia to make a new deal with France to use their uranium, which is not weapons grade. That would heal the rift with France and ease nuclear proliferation fears, she said.

Berejiklian’s resignation ignites mainstream media lovefest

When IBAC did notify NSW- Media

The resignation of Gladys Berejiklian has resulted in mainstream media revealing their apathy towards corruption and their Liberal Party bias.

Andrews government knew three years ago about problems at centre of corruption probe

 WHEN IBAC DIDN'T NOTIFY VICTORIA-Media

The fact that Peter Costello's Ch9 have no evidence of what IBAC is doing never prevents them ( I don't really know, Nick McKenzie etal ) printing bullshit as fact. All their "journalists" need say is "according to sources and records obtained by The Age." Needless to say these sources, and they are wide and varied, remain unnamed and tightly held.  Yet the journalists would have us believe they are inside the very minds of the IBAC commissioners and know them better than they know themselves. "The Independent Broad-based Anti-corruption Commission now intends to hold public hearings into"....

The greater liklihood however is that Matthew Guy is back and the LNP dirt brigade has become more active in order to boost Guy's seemingly tougher stance in opposition than Michael Obrien's. Little Matt needs a boost given the shellacking he took at the last election.

The problem for The Age is that they need to be providing news for all Victorians and not just a few. We have noticed that the print version now looks more like a LNP leaflet than a newspaper purchased for it's crosswords, word puzzles and Sodoku.

Victoria’s anti-corruption commission will hear evidence during about how public grants to ethnic groups were used for political purposes.

Andrews government knew three years ago about problems at centre of corruption probe

Gladys, whose involvement with a corrupt boyfriend where she either deliberately ignored his behaviour or was dangerously incompetent at noticing, resigns before an investigation and there’s a general bashing of teeth at the unfairness of it all. This is the middle of a pandemic and changing leaders is not something anyone should want. Dan, who may or may not be appearing in an IBAC investigation which may or may not be about his behaviour, is « refusing » to stand aside and « stubbornly » continuing to lead his state and refusing to answer questions that may be a breach of the law were he to talk about the inquiry which may or may not exist. We’ll probably know more in the coming days. And if it’s discovered that Andrews has appeared then it’s only right that he should be placed in the stocks and publicly flogged, even if he was only appearing as a witness where he is cooperating to help bring to light branch stacking in the Labor Party. (Branch stacking doesn’t occur in the Liberal Party; they only have aggressive recruitment).

The Industrial Military Complex

Let's face it this is an economic trade off and appeasement to the Anglo/ Industrial Military Complex for the business lost in Afghanistan,Iraq and Syria. Morrison was simply the Indo-Pacific smokescreen in the arrangement. The Age for once puts up an extended and reasoned opinion about about the slyness of a move that has Dutton's fingerprints all over it.

The three amigos – an Aussie marketing huckster, an English buffoon and an American senior citizen. Fresh from being chased out of Afghanistan and humiliated by barbarian terrorists they’d set out to defeat 20 years earlier. Their marquee initiative – for Washington and London to supply nuclear propulsion technology for Australian submarines – is serious. But Canberra has no ability to make use of it in a deployable submarine for at least another 20 years. What’s the point of giving an engine to someone without a car?

Australia-US submarine deal: Scott Morrison, the third amigo, speaks loudly to Xi

French President Emmanuel Macron has been angered by Australia’s decision.

Morrison, liar, salesman and diplomat the third amigo in SQAUKUS told the nation he'd smoothed it over with France beforehand. Is there any wonder he'd been sacked by Australia and  NZ once before?

France will take the extraordinary step of recalling its ambassadors from Australia and the United States, as the fallout grows from a new defence pact that has infuriated French President Emmanuel Macron. The unprecedented move follows the Morrison government’s decision to tear up a $90 billion contract to buy 12 French submarines in favour of a new nuclear-powered fleet using technology from the US and United Kingdom.

Australia-US submarine deal: France recalls its ambassadors to Australia and United States amid submarine fury

Prime Minister Scott Morrison has signed an agreement with the United States and Great Britain on nuclear-powered subs.

The most striking thing about this announcement is the pomp and pride with which it has been delivered. A total surprise to our neighbors, allies, and the electorate. The casualness of which war is spoken about with China is amazing. Cold or Hot history shows we and the post WWW2 West has never won either a Cold War or Hot let alone one experienced against a nuclear power.

We certainly didn't win the Cold War with Russia. Russia ended that one domestically. More to the point we haven't won the Hot war either unless Morrison believes Timor was one. We sent troops to and lost Vietnam, Afghanistan Iraq and even Korea. Yet, Morrison makes out he's to be the Sherrif in the Indo Pacific the leader relying on other nation's weapons. We don't even mfg or even have a any sovereign connection with our own. Yet these LNP morons are making out they are in the process of having shirt fronted China. If Australia is to be really "safe" as Morrison claims, we need to shirtfront him and the LNP out of office.

Australia’s submarine program has truly lost its rudder

Victoria eyes the new Guy.

Matthew Guy might entertain a secret wish that Scott Morrison loses the next federal election. Although the PM will not be taking the Victorian Liberals wishes into account, the next federal election date has major ramifications for Matthew Guy. If – as looks likely – the Morrison government is tossed out, then that assists the state Liberals. If Anthony Albanese wins, the new PM and his team recruit and cherry-pick the best staff from all the ALP states. Andrews’ advisers, working for the pre-eminent ALP premier, will be much sought after, leaving him relying on a new team in a state election year. Meanwhile, Matthew Guy will have an abundance of battle-hardened Liberal evacuees from Canberra looking to ply their trade, which re-invigorates a tired state Liberal Party. But the federal scene is not pretty for the Morrison [almost minority] government, and Victoria looks particularly ugly. Of the 21 “marginal”, Liberal-held seats to defend, the biggest clump of seven are in Victoria, then four in NSW, four in Queensland, three in WA, two in Tasmania and only one in SA. That is why Dan Andrews will accuse Scott Morrison of being the PM for NSW whenever he can. Inexplicably the PM is giving Andrews ample opportunities.

Maybe Ishnar Lopez-Ramos apologized to the judge for her mindless murder. She lost her liberty, perhaps for the rest of her life. She received punishment. Her victim was mourned by her children and husband. Society recognized that a great wrong had been done.

Bush and his gang remain unpunished. Society does not hold them in contempt. The mass murderers sit on genteel corporate boards. Iraq is forgotten, never mentioned in the daily news, with the masses being given bread and circuses instead. The great American amnesia about our own miLitarism and colonial misadventures is forgotten or denied.

 Rupert Murdoch.

Why has it still, until very recently, been intellectually respectable in Australia to be a climate change sceptic, when that is no longer tenable in most countries in the world?

At least partly because News Corporation has tethered the debate at that end of the spectrum.

News Corporation has been heading into an intellectual, financial and even existential dead end. Advertisers flinched. The chances of renewing the ageing readership were disappearing. As successive surveys show, the outlets were losing audience trust.

News Corporation will still be trying to shape the debate, but it has been forced to shift ground to do so. That’s significant.

It may be too late. News Corporation may already be losing its grip. It’s something to watch.

News Corp’s shift on emissions coverage reveals something about the nature and limitations of the power of the Murdoch organisation.

Why is the Australian government devoid of any original strategic tactics of it’s own? Every move they make is directly from Trump’s American Republican Party the GOP? They don’t appear to have any specific tactics that are in any way Australian. They aren’t in anyway transparent but only intent on gaslighting the Australian electorate.

Yesterday the federal government quietly appointed Lorraine Finlay as the next human rights commissioner. She is a Murdoch University legal academic and human trafficking specialist with the Australian mission to ASEAN. Media releases from Attorney-General Michaelia Cash and the Australian Human Rights Commission both praised Finlay’s academic expertise and work in international human rights law. But they neglected to mention hers deep ties to the Liberal Party, as a former upper house candidate in Western Australia and president of the state’s Liberal women’s council. They also overlooked her years spent vocally taking positions that might put her at odds with the AHRC.
