Turnbull then did as he promised and left Parliament, leaving an unwinnable by-election because the Liberals only held it by a margin of 17%, so you’d hardly expect that not to be down to Turnbull’s personal following. No, that’s the explanation and we don’t need to consider changing any policies because Wentworth is out of step because they’re all well-off and not like the rest of Australia. No, we don’t need to change any policies…

Here's the problem with Scott Morrison sending Malcolm Turnbull to a global warming conference in Indonesia. Rewarding Turnbull after his treachery in Wentworth makes Morrison looks weak. Needing Turnbull after the Liberals dumped him makes Morrison look weaker. Sending Turnbull to hype up the warming scare will make Morrison weaker still.

 That's why the commentary looks so inane. The Liberal's own polling shows they have backed the wrong horse on Climate Change. Trump and Fox might be able to con some of the 350 mill people in the US. However, 24mill here are much harder to fool particularly when the tide of Business, Investment, Technology, Health and Science have all turned against the denial of Climate Change for the simple sake of promoting the use of fossil fuels which are the horse and buggy of this Century.
Bolt tried to convince us that Wentworth was a vote against Turnbull.

and that Abbott's stocks an opportunity has risen. While trying to say in the same breathe that he's paved the way for the next generation of MPs being groomed or closer to the IPA than their electorate. Bolt is hopeful his son will be one no doubt. How did he get that job that was never advertised?

All this isn't really about Obama who by the way is an ex-President and entitled to say "I" since he's no longer in office. This is Bolt mimicking Fox News trying to deflect attention away from the fact that Trump uses the royal "I" and is POTUS. Bolt's really dreaming he's Don Quixote with a feather duster I'm afraid. Trump can't win any race when it comes to who the USA respects the most. Crowds well votes I think will speak for Trump's popularity in the midterms. By the way, has anybody told Bolt that Obama isn't running and the advertising spent on Trumps rally was what?? Trump has been playing golf for 30% of his time in office for the cost of over $70mill.
