 Bolt the apologist poses the defence question of every war criminal when he says"well what would you do?" as Israel's defence. What give you the right to judge? If you have just murdered women and children innocent people who have just cause to complain about your illegal treatment of them for the past 70 years then that question doesn't absolve the right to judged. Palestinians have been killed imprisoned and harassed on a daily basis for 70 years you simply don't get to pose that question "well what would you do?" as if it only has an immediate context. The world has already judged Israel for illegal occupation of Palestinian land and Israel has ignored that judgement and has acted illegally ever since. Simply justifying every illegal action with we feel uncomfortable so we need to be a fascist state. 
 The fact is one crime doesn't justify a lifetime of repetitive crime or mitigate your actions in the eyes of the world. Why does Bolt seem to minimize reality 110+ people were killed which the Israelis claim were all forced or inspired by Hamas? Over 10,000 were injured, 4000 by live Israeli bullets. These are facts left out by Bolt 78 women, 203 children, Journalists with well signed Press vests, and medics with fluoro jackets none of which could be declared Hamas supporters. Bolt doesn't mention the "fun" Israeli snipers were videoed hitting targets half a kilometre away.
 Faced with an unarmed crowd unarmed because no shots were fired at any Israelis Bolt puts up photos of rocks flung from a distance but not the one of the Palestinian in a wheelchair who was shot. Does he show evidence that a fence was being breached or that snipers feared for their lives yet he talks of "fear" and Bolt asks what would you do?
 What you wouldn't do is order trained snipers to arbitrarily kill and wound people as the Israelis did?  You wouldn't order to aim at knees and elbows to incur the most damage possible the Israelis did? Wouldn't then blockade medical supplies from reaching hospitals so people couldn't be properly treated and limbs amputated instead the Israelis did? Could you possibly confuse women and children in the chaos from your high ground position Israelis did? They had the most advanced equipment money could buy and they had a choice but Bolt, ever the schoolboy debater flips the bullies position to the victim when he says "Your honour, I demand you tell me what you would do? and he claims that the accusing world that "Here is the question they won’t answer, in various permutations."
 Injured Israelis 0 Palestinians 10,000 plus 4000 by bullets with 110 killed these are the permutations, Mr Bolt, When people are faced with one of the worlds most advanced armies fully equipped to kill and have been imprisoned illegally by them since 1967. That land allotted them is illegally taken on a daily basis and people killed and imprisoned without trial Bolt doesn't ask why is this happening he asks why are they angry. Which is the greater moral threat guess the Germans answered that one too when they faced Jews wanting to escape the Ghettos or complaining. They knew what to do and were tried. The White South African government had to kill blacks because they too were faced with a moral dilemma that they were angry. The question isn't what would you do given the last 70 years of oppression. Bolt's asks every slave owners question while whipping his property. You address the question of equality and humanity and do everything in your power to make amends not for this action but for every action deemed illegal since 1967

Yes, the courts discharged 2 union officials and Michaela Cash still calls crims and guilty. She doesn't know what but guilty because the CMFEU has in the past accrued so many fines.  But then Bankers have never had so many charges to face under an LNP government even when the banks were found to have committed over 200,000 offences totalling hundreds of millions of dollars repeating their actions so that it felt normal. Bolt claims they weren't systemic. Is he for real. He warns that a war now is coming when one has been waging since Keating lost to Howard one has existed for last 20 years and the LNP government changed all the rules for Australian workers to be represented. Who were determined to destroy bipartisan politics the unions and the rate passing of bills through negotiation but Howard and Abbott? They effectively brought this nation to a social standstill.
Bolt even admitted that the workers of Australia haven't had a fair share of the increased  GDP not even keeping up with inflation like the ABC they have been under attack. But that was apparently good because it trimmed the fat and gives it to business which was already on a high sugar diet of an average profit of 20% + coupled with taxes they just saw fit not to pay. 
 Let's face it the top 10 Executives of AMP's salaries have not been charged and have cut their next 6monyhs pay by 25% from the $110 mill they were getting. Why would that be that banks execs and directors are rarely charged and Unions are constantly under the threat of being charged and fined? Why because the LNP ensured it that way allowing Bolt and Cash say the fines are evidence of their criminal activity. When banks are fined or even the execs are fined they don't pay those fines the shareholders and clients do. Those they have been ripped off do. A class war isn't " coming" it's been here since Eureka.

 If forced to work in a no job environment wages would drop and more people could be employed two families could share a house.  They then might be able to survive week to week when they can't now. The welfare the state saves could   be invested into more part time and phantom jobs. Bolt's logic is closer to Kim Jong un's  than  anything to do with  democracy and Australian values. He loudly argues for traditional family values when the economic pressure t has never been greater. Youth crime  is on the increase and kids are easy targets as  latch key kids  they are left to their own devices Bolt blames the parents and not their economic condition. Kids are all natural experimenters bored boozed and recreationally drugged they turn to crime to support their habits. Bolt however blames their ethnicity their culture their color everything but their economic conditions. His private school kids are doing the same but it's less obvious they don't need to do it so visibly. Math logic economics and the rise of private middle class rehab centers are evidence. Underprivileged kids and adults don't have the money or funds to explain the amount of drugs being consumed in Australia. Yet Bolt our mainstream Delcon broadcaster is trying to sell us that if only all those on Welfare those ethnics in Dandenong, the indigenous, single mothers and unemployed were isolated policed and removed drug use would disappear and problems would diminish the rainbow of  private charity trickling down would show as it was always intended. The class war election

As far as Bolt is concerned "class" is an unreal imaginary concept  to cover it up he alludes to  some form of psychological mass"envy".  That in itself is moronic. Bolt freely misuses  terms like "the political class" " media class" whenever he likes to push his arguments.  However class is a real economic and structural term  referring to how we relate to each other. It distinguishes those who have little or no capital and only have their labor to sell from those who have capital and own,  the means of production together with those  inherited wealthy who profit from non productive efforts  of rent and interest collecting. Bolt  himself falls into the category of a worker and possibly into money lender,  investor or  fantasy capitalist.Bolt is in the business of capturing and selling us an Orwellian narrative,

Bolt however claims there is no class differences only status. However the envious are people who don't know their place and are created and manipulated by politicians.  Bolt's image of Australia is a country where the majority are the "living dead" ready to symbolically eat the flesh of the rich and wealthy infected buy the disease of envy. Basically what Bolt is saying  ownership of property , control over the means of production and inheritance are the natural order.  Those with that control are by nature the historically and evolutionary elect. Everybody from birth have the opportunity of climbing the greasy pole of social mobility to get to the top which is continually renewed and refreshed by the best. To argue the system is unfair is to be envious. If you feel that somebody has their foot on you face preventing you rising on the greasy pole it's just natural competition and your inability in the race. As Malcolm Fraser ex PM once hero of the Liberal Party  said "life wasn't meant to be easy" What was missing was "life wasn't meant to be unfair either" Like climate change there is also man made order that's dysfunctional.

There are no universal human rights in Bolt's view nor is there a concept of fairness because government is by an large interference in the free market place. The wealthy are by nature a generous lot and a natural trickle down effect by way of Charity ought to occur and not State Welfare. This whole ideology Bolt loves to claim is Christian. However there is evidence in it was put together by a Middle Eastern business man called Mohammed in Medina well before it was adopted by Christianity. The first truley free market in the world was started by Islam. Has Bolt got anything right?

Simply put there are no universal human rights to anything health, shelter,and education all are denied in Bolt's view. However unless you don't believe that man is the master of his own destiny and has the ability to change things to make things "fairer" for everybody and you only believe in destiny god or some natural  deserved order we are  left with a battle of ideas. Between haves and have nots, between tradition and progress. Between natural justice and man made justice. So Bolt "envy" just shows what a morally corrupt class traitor he is .

Remember when Abbott was made "pivot of the Pacific" he went to Europe and tried to become a member of NATO. He was shirt-fronting Putin back then and forcing the ABC out of Vanuatu and Fiji  allowing the Chinese to take our place as eyes in the Pacific. Abbott's back was turned to the Pacific he was going to war against Russia in the Ukraine and the Middle East meanwhile the Russians were conducting naval exercises off our coastline. It's akin to saying that the CEO of the CBA hadn't a clue of the practices and commission structures that gave birth to the conflict of interest and fraudulent advice given to clients by the financial advisers under his charge.

Bolt's Cloud Cuckoo Land is his mythical Australian Culture that has so few people but all riding unicorns. No workers, no welfare just auction rooms crammed filled with the objects representative of the wealth of past generations. If not Muslims well then there'd be other mutants Bolt would be asking this same question of."Who let them in?"It's the ongoing necessity of Cultural eugenics or  Cultural genocide that Bolt needs to remind us not to stray his continual defining of the norm while selling the myth of individuality. What are universities doing to stop international students from cheating and free-loading?

When Universities are forced to operate on a commercial model to attract overseas students for the purpose of self financing. When tutors, lecturers and senior lecturers have no tenure and the success or failure of departments and courses  depends simply on supply and demand. When the expectations of students is little more than the paper chase for courses offering the false promise of jobs, excellence runs a significant last. What we see are reports and complaints that come from a clash of expectations that don't match reality. 

The Education industry has become so important to the economy is it at all unusual the a VW attitude has become the norm. Sell courses and ensure they succeed at any cost even if the promise is false. Students returning home have a premium piece of paper. Local students have been sold a debt on false expectations that there's any number of jobs available for say lawyers. So much so one law company was seen selling internships for $27,000 why? False promises.

 Christopher Pyne under  the Abbott government wanted to adopt the failing American model of privatized tertiary education that is fast becoming bankrupt in the US leaving students with nothing but an immense debt and no future. America is now actively supporting a return to government supported education to reduce student debt that is now in the trillions of dollars.

 

No, we’re not multicultural - or shouldn’t be

 This is what we should have said: “You are welcome to our country. We will greet you, but we expect certain conditions to be met in relation to cultural assimilation.”

What Bolt and Phelps expect is for Greeks and Italians to give up their very strong traditions it would seem.

There are quite a number that have been here for 30 and 40 years that have never found it a necessity to become fluent English speakers. Particularly those little old Greek and Italian ladies dressed in black. Language,religion,food,clothing and entertainment still separates them today as much as it did when they arrived in the 50s and 60s. The integration comes with their children and not overnight. It was the  same with Vienamese and Chinese and it's why we encouraged the notion of multiculturalism it softens all attitudes and creates a bridge between communities rather than the gap and stress that rapid assimilation demands. It's why we have China Town, Little Vietnam, Little Italy, The Italian clubs , The Greek Clubs.

Australia has a shortage of skilled labor we advertise but get no response  from Bolt and Phelp's preferred migrants. Many worked in the car industry Abbott ensured it's death as it did in many areas of manufacturing. Bolt and Phelps in their bigoted way refuse to even accept that most Asylum seekers are professionals whether legal or illegal simply because they are Muslim. They tell us they can't speak English which is another lie as many are multi lingual. There is no evidence they are a greater burden on us either due to social welfare or criminality. 

It's why Bolt and Phelps are talking a load of crock. They are blind to what has happened in the past and is still happening now. Multiculturalism is a journey, a path to assimilation that doesn't just occur over night and it's what has happened in all  the settler countries like Australia, USA, Canada and NZ. What is exclusive to Australia is we call them "New Australian" Nobody in the world is regarded as a New American, New Canadian, ,New New Zealander. There they are Indian Americans, Polish Americans and proud to be Americans. Just as proud a Lebanese here are proud to be Australians.  When do Phelps and Bolt suggest that their end is achieved? Obviously never when Phelp's criteria are held a the standard Richmond's Houli needs to be judged by.  When does one become Australian? 50% of us have a first or second generation connection to a migrant family.

 Bolt and Phelps believe in far more restrictive immigration, a white judeo christian culture that will produce our apartheid in the Pacific. Yet they expect all the benefits of being respected global citizens however with none of the responsibilities to realities that surround us..

 

 

 

 

 

Few fighters for free speech in Parliament

Bolt's notion of protecting "free speech" is in fact the ideal of protecting uncivilized abuse and hate speech rather than civilized reasoned and persuasive speech. Since 1979 the courts haven't been over flowing with vilification cases in fact there have been very few. Except for Bolt's  case I can't recollect any. So why the urgency if it's only to legislate the right of abuse. Conservatives  talk of the fact that it will free up the courts which is patently false. In an authoritarian system abuse, vilification and threat readily flows from the top down. The army boot camp is a perfect example where the sargent can say anything he wants to the recruits in any number of ways and it substantiates his authority. The grunts don't have the same right of either power or control.

In democratic society the playing field isn't equal and nor is 'free speech".It is freer for some than others. The flow also reflects the power and control. It's why Bolt's case was so apparent because the situation was reversed.  Free speech might be an ideal as is the want of an equal playing field but it's not the fact. Bigot's don't have the right to be bigots and nor should they.  People do need to be protected from uncivilized abuse and hate speech and any legislation that allows it lowers the concept of civil society.

So the politics of envy entails anybody belonging to the 99% of the Australian electorate asking questions of the 1%. However it doesn't apply when  the investigation is directed in the other direction  and the top 1% are asking questions of the 99% as they are in the Royal Commission.  Andrew Bolt  sounds like a man who wants Malcolm Turnbull brought down. Why is it Shorten needs to suspend the CFMEU when 7/11 doesn't require any suspension? Developers can start Phoenix companies and rip people off as often as they want. That the CBA doesn't require any action other than an apology?

 Why is it that union members aren't required to sit on company boards as they are in Germany making the whole system less adversarial. Why is it that suspensions are always only applied to union the  worker associations?

It's Muslim victimology that actually makes them reverse racists who threaten Bolt's safety. He has applied this same argument against the indigenous people that took him to court but it didn't wash with the judge. Bolt still cries that he was the victim of unfair laws. 

It's strange Bolt believes everything ISIS has to say but generally finds it hard to believe what  Australians generally have to say, particularly if they accuse Andrew Bolt of driving them to the point of violence. When that happens Bolt  says , "see I told you so victimology". There is every reason the laws surrounding Section 18C should be made stricter because Andrew Bolt  and those like him do incite violence or the threat of violence as the email below shows.

This email is crude but it is an understandable response to Bolt's vilification and religious hatred of Muslims that he has been spreading for years. However he get's hate in return he then immediately cries victim and "why did we let them in". If one understands the history of what went before and what generated this sort of reaction the question is more valid when asked of Andrew Bolt. Why did we let him in? Let's hope Malcolm Turnbull has a closer look at Andrew Bolt.

Yet again Bolt takes a single issue of a weatherman in France who has nothing to do with science or research  but is only tied up with the politics and opinions that surround the science he  however is the man to be heard.  Bolt distorts what's happening as evidence against science and it's method.   Just by calling science a "cult"  merits as refutation of the scientific process  and is sufficient to reduce it to voodoo.

Andrew Bolt's banner has as much validity as the example below it if it was a  banner about Bendigo.  Bolt simply doesn't tell the whole story only his because he has  vested interest in promoting Islamophobia. He has no interest in reporting  what really happened was a dipute  as much about local politics as it was about religion. No, Bolt would rather suggest that 350 mill Indonesians had the Christians in their crosshairs and their backs to the wall. Yes disputes happen even here. They don't define Australia as local disputes don't define Indonesia.

In typical Bolt style you only get part of the story. In 1979 and agreement was made between the Muslim and Christian communities that only one church and four small Christian houses of worship would be built in the district of Aceh Singkil. The church became one of 10 and the broken agreement was protested after a peaceful 36 years. At a meeting between all parties protestors, church board members and officials it was agreed that the churches would be demolished on October 19th.

The President Jokowi was quite clear and no Christian Indonesia is not burning or being put to the sword.

Obama keeps troops in Afghanistan

What Bolt fails to remind us of all these wars we see today were inherited from the Republicans. Charlie's War financed the Mushadin in Afghanistan which became the Taliban. Why? To get the Russians out of course and gain control of oil in Kazakhstan. It gave birth to Al Qaeda. They invaded Iraq under the guise WMDs and gave birth to Al Qaeda in Iraq which morphed into ISIS two years ago. Obama didn't create what we see today. He inherited it. The American people voted for him and voted because they wanted out of Iraq and Afghanistan they knew they had another Vietnam on their hands and didn't want more body bags flown home.

Syria was never an overt American war it was covert. They assisted the rebels that now Bolt wants bombed. Some  of these rebels morphed into ISIS not because the US had left Iraq but because of the the Sunni disenchantment with the Shite run Iraqi government, because they had the equipment supplied by the US to them in Syria and they had the military trained leaders of Saddam's elite army in strategic command. Some were even trained by the Americans. They were able  to make a rapid move into Iraq not because of any vaccuum created the Sunnis tribes were always in Nth Eastern Iraq and the Anbar Province was their natural home. The Sunni population merely supported rebels and welcomed them  over the repressive Malaki Shite Government in Baghdad. The notion of Iraq as a sovereign entity had become meaningless to them.

  There was no vacuum filled by Russia either as Bolt claims. Russia has been in Syria for years and has always had a naval base there. Russia has always been the underwriters of the Assad regime. To suggest Russia and Iran had just moved into a vacuum in Syria is ludicrous.  The whole Syrian war began because the Sunni Nth were starving due to a 6 year drought and famine and they asked for assistance from their government. When denied they protested but only found bullets and bombs in reply.

Bolt's whole interpretation of the Middle East as being a Democrat error is nothing more than Republican propaganda. Yes all these wars were due to American involvement and a serious error of judgement in pursuit of American interests. However the actions began with Republican aggression and has now dissolved into Democrat headache attempting to mitigate  unwanted aggression which has resulted in a mess and very complex situation. The Repulicans have no solution to nor does Bolt. Any criticism is about the 2016 elections only. It really has nothing to do with the Middle East.
