To say that the public interest is not being served is an news and information service and is not bias. To invite these diverse groups on the ABC to have their say is not bias if one group out of petulance decides to go on strike.The government is only one of many institutions and groups the ABC examines. It's not bias.
Only weak governments, opaque governments, governments lacking transparency cry foul. They sometimes do it directly as Abbott did with his collectivist LNP strike. They expect the public broadcaster to serve them as do some private media who act as quasi PR and advertising agents for them. News Corp being the prime example. I doubt if I ever once heard either of them mention Andrew Bolt in the same terms who also doesn't come across that well in the media. Is all this meant to tell us they are the best of friends of Murdoch Media and not just Bolt.
Maybe Abbott can’t save us, but Shorten won’t
There is a reply to this Murdoch clap trap and it's nonsense! Kelly blames everybody in sight except for a tiny bunch of men , Abbott's hoods. He lists literally everyone else as antagonists.
Abbott can't save himself let alone interested interested in us. "Us" we don't exist in his view of the world only trusted advisers and other like minded individuals live in his world. There is no trust or empathy with anyone other than his inner circle. When the facts no longer have substance in reality it's called mental illness. It's why he is now so Rudd.
Murdoch media Kelly& Bolt, paint this picture of Abbott and his hoods having to drag a nation sinking and entrapped in the quicksand of debt and delusion up and out of the mire. Abbott's job is to save us not lead manage or organize an extremely admired and successful country. He is supposed to be in our service not servicing us. He doesn't need to turn what still is one of the worlds best economies around. He has to nurse it. Not disenchant it, kick it and drag it for its own good in a totally different direction.
I'd say the mad monk is totally ideologically driven, out of touch with reality. A man who grew up and listened to his Jesuit superiors, political superiors, economic superiors, all his life. It's made so rigid that backwards is his only way forwards.
