IT'S TAX-CUT ELECTION

Be grateful that both the Liberals and Labor today started a  contest to cut our personal income taxes - with  Labor, by the way,  sitting on the biggest war chest.  But we're still deep in government debt, so where is the other side of the equation - spending cuts? My editorial from The Bolt Report.

 Obviously, Bolt has wax in his ears, a short memory or doesn't hear what Scott M has to say that "projected revenue is up". The economy has improved and will continue to do so. All he can say is "don't trust them" he means politicians.
 However, remember his team  Hockey and Abbott's budget they set the precedent of not allowing their numbers to be audited by Treasury. They chose their auditors themselves, confirmed their own estimates and declared them independently audited which when delivered were treated like lead zeppelins by the electorate. Apparently, Morrison's auditors aren't the same this time around if they are we don't seem to have heard.  
 Bolt's editorial is a summary of what we already know a plodding, unenlightening obit? Does he remind us of Abbott and Hockey were politicians who made promises and did quite the opposite in 2014 only to unwrap an early Xmas gift in 2015?  Does he remind us of Hockey standing up while in NZ telling everyone there was never a problem with the Australian economy and Abbott rushing to the microphones back home to say "we've fixed the problem economy" without a word of how? Bolt tells us how gross debt is $500 bill but again forgets to remind us it was Abbott and Hockey who raised the debt ceiling from $350mill.
So basically Bolt's saying don't trust them fails to remind us that it was Abbott and Hockey who started the game of "chicken little warnings" said they'd fixed them like Mandrake raised the debt ceiling and put their foot on the spending accelerator without really doing anything at all that improved the state of the nation. Wayne Swann was voted the world's best Treasurer because he did something and Joe Hockey the worst because  Tony Abbott put him in the crosshairs and did nothing, a pigeon pair of duds. Neither Morrison nor Shorten sound anything like those two but that's the foundation of Bolt's scepticism his side.

Deafening silence – until at last, some 16 years later, the emergence of Peter Dutton, blatantly and shamelessly demanding that white South African farmers should be encouraged to jump the queue in favour of those already languishing in the various camps – including, of course, those sponsored by Australia in Nauru and Manus Island.

It is worth noting that while the South African farmers may feel discriminated against by legislation that may take away some or all of their property, thus qualifying them as economic migrants, it is a big stretch to claim that they, as a class, let alone a race (as Dutton seems to define them) are facing deliberate political persecution.Certainly, there have been murders in South Africa – far more black deaths than white, if that matters, which it obviously doesn’t to Dutton. But much of South Africa is violent, though not a lawless, society. To declare that the 74 farm murders between 2016 and 2017, which Tony Abbott effortlessly ramps up to 400, were all political reeks more of propaganda than of evidence.
Dutton is more than dog whistling; he is quite overtly promoting his own version of White Australia, in which all but unquestioning preference is to be accorded to whites who want residence, and the rest can rot away in whichever gulags they can find – we will decide. ( Mungo M)

 ANZAC DAY NOT A DAY FOR ABORIGINE DIGGERS ON BRIBIE ISLAND
 A car decorated with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander flags was denied entry to this week's
 Anzac Day parade on Bribie Island.
A vintage yellow car has driven Aunty Susan Dean and other Aboriginal community members in the Anzac Day parade on Queensland's Bribie Island for the last two years.
 He said the SES member told him the vehicle wasn't registered for the event. But this was news to Mr McCarthy, who said he called up in the days prior to the parade to confirm its place.

Robert Hazelwood, Vice President of the Bribie Island RSL Sub Branch and Bribie Island's Anzac Day parade commander, told NITV News the issue wasn't that the car displayed large Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander flags.
“That particular vehicle was disruptive to last year’s parade,” he said.
“This is a very sacred event to us, it’s a day of remembrance for people who were killed in action."
Howeve,r Aunty Sue said they were well received last year.
"Nothing was said and everyone was cheering and waving at us and, you know, giving us the thumbs up and all."

Asked if he would be concerned if parade representatives were suggesting the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander flags were not allowed in the Anzac Day events, Mr Hazlewood said: "I suppose I would be."
But after parking the car, Aunty Sue said they were again stopped by an SES member when they tried to walk past the security gate leading to the ceremony.
"Myself and the kids were carrying hand-held flags - the Aboriginal, the Torres Strait Islander and the Australian flags we were carrying -  and this lady from the SES comes over, 'Excuse me, you cannot take that in there'."

Andrew Bolt has never been to war he has no relations that have been to war for Australia and the only association he has with war is his family ties to Aalsmeer the most notorious town in the Netherlands where the citizens elected mayor was hanged for his collaboration with the Nazis. The good folk of Alsmeer were noted for their enthusiasm in hunting and killing Jews. The Dutch post-WW2 let the world know what heroes they were by creating a myth of anti-Nazi culture and that they actively protected Jews. That myth was brought to an end in the 1980s by the Jews themselves. Investigators who showed that the Dutch deported and killed more of their own Jewish pop per head than even the Germans did. 
Andrew Bolt is known for keeping his family history close to his chest. He's publicly stated he'd never felt Australian until after his marriage but somehow has been overly eager to fashion and adopt Australia's Culture as being not multicultural but Imperial, monarchist and largely British despite the fact that he has absolutely no heritage or family connection to any of Australia's wars. In fact given his heritage Aalsmeer he has more in common with the Germans  He's not a historian he has no academic qualifications to even suggest he has any first-hand knowledge of what it means to be an ANZAC and what it means to those Australians that do. Andrew Bolt is merely a camp follower who wants to steal the party.
People far wiser than Bolt like our retired head of our ADF Admiral Chris Barrie, Gary Oakley an Indigenous AustralianVET from the ATSI Veterans and Services Association Ben Quilty our official war artist in Afghanistan and Booker Prize winner Richard Flanagan whose family history of war are all Australians that do have a real connection and all seem to deconstruct Bolt's glorification and his need for a false flag myth typical of the one the Dutch attempted to construct after WW2. 
I don't know what Rowan Dean's connection to ANZAC day is he doesn't acknowledge one and I suspect he has none. He's been brought onto The Bolt Report as the creative the ad man to help sell the myth by tearing down those who like Admiral Barrie and Luenig refuse to be camp followers. Anyway, all these people are disgusted with the way the term ANZAC has been misappropriated by various interests and fail to serve history, the reality of war and those that served and are currently serving on active duty outside of Australia. Admiral Barrie is disgusted with Abbott's $100 mill Disney monument in France and the proposed other $500 mill one in the future. None serve to assist the Veterans today and to glorify war in the National interest instead of peace is a disgrace. Monuments, flags, uniforms and anthems don't for a moment reflect the truth Australian experience Of British, German, Turkish, Japanese Australians living together in peace. Admiral Barrie is quite clear that Bolt and Dean have lost the plot and that Luenig is far closer to the truth that ANZAC day has been kidnapped Commercialized, Militarized, and used by national extremists and that these two Australians Bolt and Dean are simply camp followers partying and attempting to steal some glory  of war for no good purpose where there was none and to which they have no connection. Bolt definitely almost has a struggle to say he too was a proud vet has the mythical medals to prove it. His sons marched in the school band wow. However hard he tries to bury his past in Aalsmeer it won't wash unless he begins to celebrate the peace fought for in multicultural Australia.

TOO GOOD TO LET THE HATERS DESTROY

No, I was right the first time. The bollards I saw on today's march convinced me. The hate-talk against Anzac Day can't be allowed to stand. The ceremony is just too important, and what other traditions do we have left to bind us? My editorial from The Bolt Report.

Andrew Bolt's connection to ANZAC day is yes none other than his sons played and marched in the school bands. It becomes clear when ex-head of the ADF Admiral Chris Barrie states that people like Bolt and Dean are charlatans who have kidnapped ANZAC day for their self-interest and have no connection whatsoever to the ANZACS or for that matter any connection to Australia's actions overseas other than as political extremists throwing other Australian sons bodies on the line. Bolt's heritage is as far removed from anything ANZAC. He is as far removed as one can be. He has openly stated he never really felt Australian for more than half his life until he got married and he doesn't entirely feel it today. But today started his editorial with exactly the same performance as he did last year " proud as"
 Ex-head of the ADF Admiral Chris Barrie is perfectly right Bolt has stolen ANZAC day and turned it from reflection into some camp followers party, parade and celebration. Bolt would call the Admiral who served Australia a hater and tries to steal his thunder. He'd call the Indigenous servicemen that served and wanted to come home but were denied the right because of the White Australia Policy liars. Those that did come home to find their children had been stolen to find Bolts denying them the mateship found in the trenches. All of these realities Bolt and Dean would call disrespect for their ANZAC myth that for many is and remains a lie.



 

TURNBULL RIGHT NOT TO PROMOTE THE DEAD

Column Malcolm Turnbull made a good call last week. No, he would not promote Sir John Monash to field marshal, our highest military rank. Not that Monash would mind. He’s been dead for 87 years. And that's the point: surely our arrogant desire to rewrite history must stop.

What fails to be promoted is the changing history of this nation from the Colonial Empire's land of the unwanted and cheap labour camp to a multicultural settler Democracy.There were little if no positive aspects to this Colony and it's power structure which endured but for the migrants that came and redefined the meaning of unity. Bolt only talks of the enduring unity of the elite and the elements of culture that only he and the regressive privileged want to be maintained. Those aspects identified by Tony Abbott as 'Team Australia' a very small team indeed.
 There was never a 'Team Australia' from invasion day the privileged and powerful ensured that. There wasn't a time when Australia wasn't conflicted and the majority poor working class generally Irish, Catholic, or indigenous slowly many as Richard Flanagan pointed out many became more indigenous than they did loyalist and affluent the ranks of whom were blocked.
The army was one of the only means to equal opportunity in this country and provided even the indigenous with the equal right to die next to a white man who he could call mate until of course, he got back home.
 That class division and suspicion lasted well into the fifties between Protestants and Catholics when escapees from Europe came Bolt's Parents hadn't heard of this place until called for. Where they ten-pound migrants? Why did they escape the Netherlands on might well ask? Why doesn't Bolt promote his family history as the families of ANZACS do? He celebrates the history of others as if it were his own stealing their medals and stories. His history is falsely misappropriated claiming he's a true blue Aussie now when for over half his life he denied it. There is something dark and untold here as his cultural preferences aren't Australian nor ANZAC at all. Andrew Bolt admits to being a loner not too many mates for him.

ANZAC DAY MORE NEEDED NOW, AS WE FRAGMENT

Column Did I just panic, I wondered, following my youngest son as his school band marched in Melbourne’s Anzac Day parade. How can the usual Anzac Day haters really hurt all I see here? But then I noticed things, like the bollards. How strange: we were commemorating soldiers who fought the enemy without while needing guarding now against the enemy within.

The lady Bolt calls a troll Catherine Deveny has defined Andrew Bolt to a tee and this is Bolt's Australia in a nutshell but first, you need to see it for what it is not. It's not just the mask, the myth white nationalists and militarists spin for some self-engrandisement to pass on to their children.
Who has the right, who is more equipped to say what the true meaning of the ANZAC story is if it's not  the ex-head of our ADF Admiral Chris Barrie or is it Andrew Bolt? "I'never felt Australian until my thirties really forties until he married one?
 Barrie is, however, one of Bolt's troll-like Australians no doubt as he said of the ANZACS that the lucky ones were the ones that were dead. They didn't have to see the circus theft of what they experienced by celebrators like Andrew Bolt who have never put a uniform on and have stolen the real story of the wars fought. The celebrators that promote sending our boys to war and not put every effort into peace. The celebrators that deny the miracle of a united multicultural Australia by narrowing it's cultural definition to incite division for cheap and short-term gains. They, in fact, promote and abuse those for recognizing the real unity of different cultures living together in peace. I dare Bolt to call Admiral Barrie un-Australian. The racism Bolt promotes is here in front of us masked by the simplistic stupidity of his words "proud as"

GOOD, NO TAX RISES. BUT THE NDIS IS STILL A TAX-GUZZLER

Good that it won't raise taxes: "The Turnbull government has abandoned a plan to increase the Medicare levy by 0.5 percent to pay for the National Disability Insurance Scheme, saying improvements in the Australian economy mean the measure is no longer necessary."  But Labor forced this change, and now won't raise the levy on the "rich", either.

Andrew Bolt is the advocate for privatised health trying to sell the pup that competition drives prices down the American model that has left 30 million Americans without any health cover and over half undercovered. With competitive advertising and complimentary administrative staffing in every organization competing for customers. It's left the USA with the most expensive but even the worst health delivery service among OECD countries in the world. That's what Bolt wants here. For people when sick to negotiate the private health system stressed when they are already sick and expect the families of those to also take on the burden of that stress.
Centralized healthcare services and provider education of doctors nurses and others cut's costs not raises them as seen in the services provided in the UK and Nordic countries where if you're sick you are provided with super quality service for everyone and freedom of stress to boot. It doesn't mean the "rich" can't pay extra if they so want when extra hasn't been proven to be necassarily better. However, they then do have the choice of paying the gap between the national insurer and the private service.  However per head of population why are Americans paying 3- 5 times more for services that aren't any better but more often worse than anywhere else with the accompanying stress?
Let's not talk about tax alone but compare what taxes get you in Finland. When a middle-class wage was $62,000 30% tax got you universal health with NDIS, Free education Paid parental leave when having children for both parents Free child care and preschool until the age of 7 and countless other benefits such as unemployment  and Age Care on an international scale of comparison of quality the same if not  better than here. Couple that with the less mental stress and the resultant index of well being is something Andrew Bolt can't begin to comprehend. Imagine he could mix with all classes of people without worrying if or not they were bludgers.  How is this all possible economy of scale for one cutting out all the fricking middlemen the reduced administrative and advertising costs that competition brings and transparency the mother of all evils in a freemarket that doesn't deliver freedom at all as opposed to an regulated market whose purpose is to deliver equally and free the individual citizen family and community from anxiety.

Some thing else Andrew Bolt supports that doesn't seem too ANZAC to anybody ... ISRAEL. Anti -ISRAELI IS NOT Anti- SEMITISM

“The lenient sentence announced today is not surprising and illustrates how pervasive and entrenched denial perpetuates impunity even where video evidence shows Israeli forces intentionally killing children.”

Israeli lawmaker Bezalel Smotrich published a tweet on 21 April calling for a Palestinian child prisoner to be shot.
Smotrich wrote that he was “very sad” that Ahed Tamimi is in jail because she “should have gotten a bullet, at least in the kneecap.”
“That would have put her under house arrest for the rest of her life,” the lawmaker added, according to the newspaper Haaretz.
Smotrich is a member of the extreme right-wing nationalist party Habayit Hayehudi (Jewish Home).
He has advocated a plan for the expulsion of Palestinians that a noted Israeli Holocaust expert has described as potentially genocidal.
That expert also said that Smotrich’s values resemble those of the Nazi SS.
Smotrich was responding to Israeli journalist Yinon Magal, who wrote, according to Haaretz, “I’m watching this clip again and I am so glad that Tamimi is still in jail. Sometimes, it’s good that the mill of justice grinds slowly.”

THE DANGER OF THE ANZAC DAY VANDALS

You can always tell it's ANZAC Day by the people jumping up to rubbish the day, the sacrifice, the country. And here we go again.  But how do these vandals expect to create a nation out of this tidal wave of immigrants if we trash our own past and traditions? My editorial on The Bolt Report.

Bolt is an immigrant fleeing from the scandal his family left behind in Alsmeer the most notorious town in the Netherlands. Until the 1980's the Dutch prided themselves as heroes of WW2 and told the world of their hate for Hitler and how they protected and saved the Jews from the Holocaust. When in fact the whole story being sold was a lie. The Dutch as Israeli historians and investigators revealed were selling fake news to the world masking their shame. They in fact killed and transported more Dutch Jews per head of population to camps and their death than the Germans.  The town from which Bolt's family came from Alsmeer was the most anti-Semitic and notorious in the Netherlands. The Mayor, voted in by the good townsfolk, was convicted and hung for war crimes. Now Bolt doesn't really ever talk about where his family stood in the scheme of these historic things. He keeps his family history extremely private more than most. The Bolts certainly don't appear on the Wall of the Righteous.
However, it's not so with Australian history Bolt is a migrant but in the forefront of defining our history for us despite the fact he's not a historian or has any association with it. Booker prize winner Richard Flanagan has and has a lot to say about our history and he has a far deeper connection than Andrew Bolt ever did with the men in his family that actually fought in the wars passing their experiences on. Flanagan's speech at the National Press Club is worth reading and it reflects a story diametrically opposed to the short one that immigrant Bolt puts out, it's worth reading about Empire and our inglorious past.
 Yes, vandals like Bolt are a danger to the meaning of Australia's ANZAC Day they perpetuate false myths rather than the true nature of our history and what actually occurred.Much like the Dutch did until the 1980's when the truth was revealed about the reality of their painful past and it's denial.

The Frontier Wars was the bloodiest conflict on Australian soil. We look at five of the warriors who fought for their people and their land against colonial forces.

add a little truth to the Remembrance and include the non-recognition of the Aboriginal contingent in both World Wars, the Aboriginal Soldiers that were left over there, because of the White Australia Policy, denying them access back home. Aboriginal Soldiers came home to their children being stolen, their homes gone, their families murdered and they were totally ignored for their contribution, fighting for the liberty of all Australians, whilst their own people and families were being denied their liberties in the same country they were fighting for.

So today, I hope the Frontier rallies, will honour all aboriginal people, who have lost their lives up until this day, as they have all died as heroes, fighting for the survival, freedom & liberties of all our people, in this 230-year war, with the British Establishment.
Lest We Forget our fallen heroes of the Dreamtime, whom, are the Spirit Ancestors of our Survival.

Andrew Bolt has struggling ratings of less than 30,000 viewers Yet the poll lover doesn't even mention this lack of presence on the Foxtel's top 20 list. Sky News, in fact, gets only gets one mention in the top 20. Any wonder Bolt looks non-existent when compared to the number of viewers on free to air TV. The Bolt Report's production team tries desperately to keep Bolt afloat with Shari Markson moments like this using other in-house personalities or those trying to make a name for themselves like Dean and Cousens. Bolt generally plays the adoring puppy listening and wagging his tail. Listening to rave-ettes not of news but about the left-wing competition largely the ABC as in this case. The problem is his production team needs to set the scene with cut and paste snippets which become the imaginary skittles to be knocked down. They don't actually show you the full context or what actually happened on John Faine's show.  So it's not strange that Andrew Bolt's show just doesn't rate night after night and that he needs to claim the stats on other peoples shows as his Steve Price at Night.

 

VOTERS SAY YES TO CUTTING IMMIGRATION

When the public is sold a pup it reflects in the numbers turning off. News Corp everywhere does, however, have the power to drive opinion. Islamophobia is a case in point where fear of Muslims went from 9% to 30% with the help of Murdoch's 66% coverage of papers Australia wide. 2,850  anti- Muslim articles in 2017 alone show why. It simply shows the breadth of spin can influence sometimes but not all of the time. Abbott and the conservatives now believe they are on a winner and want to drive the fear of Immigration and Coal as their point of difference in the marketplace of ideas for voters. The problem they have is they can't do it and be honest at the same time.
 Tony Abbott has a history of lying for the sake of self-interest politics. Only a week ago he told the electorate 400 White Farmers were murdered in South Africa in 2017 and needed to be evacuated from a barbaric country. The world didn't know that they were imperilled refugees but Abbott and Dutton of boom gate fame turned 59 into 400.
Australians are told Immigration has caused major problems all over Melbourne as have the South Sudanese and we are too scared to leave home a lie as well. The most livable city in the world has attracted Australians too and not just Immigrants. Unemployment has stayed the same and not risen but had it not been for Immigrants starting businesses at a faster rate than Australians and providing jobs and boosting the cities economy the unemployed numbers would be higher. We are fast becoming a city with 4.9 mill people and feeling what it means to be one.

Is it strange that Monash is where the University is located and attracts high numbers of people not born here who are supporting one of our largest export industries Education? Bolt doesn't mention that strange, isn't it? No doubt many of those who left were also students.  Nor does he mention Glen Waverly High a school very much in demand with families who prize education. Furthermore, while Bolt emphasizes the word "foreign" in terms of arrivals he doesn't seem to use it when mentioning the "net "people who left. Unless "net" is a foreign nationality I've never heard of. He's hardly comparing apples with apples. Yet he mentions the "car-crush". Students move to Monash to avoid that "car-crush" and they hardly fuel it.
 Tony Abbott went out of his way to block the building of a freeway here in Melbourne by withholding $3 billion from the ALP. Meanwhile, the previous Liberal Government had done absolutely nothing about infrastructure so much for the "car-crush" prevented from being resolved.
As for crime rates, Bolt, as usual, alludes to but leaves any figures out largely because he regards the police as conspiratorial in hiding those "real" figures he prefers to make up. He brags about his high ratings 'off a small base' but does the reverse when the same is shown to be the case for minorities in which for example newly arrived migrants can be shown to be less likely to commit crimes. The criminal and repetitive behaviour of a few kids is what Bolt uses to fuel his argument. Families are younger, more skilled and better educated than most Australians. 
By the way, the crime rate Bolt refers to in Monash shows no relevance to whether Monash is merely a target of crime or whether the crimes are committed by migrants. Are they an easy target for crimes committed by good old Aussies? Loose with facts nothing specified Bolt certainly full of them and casts a wide net. Big with spin Bolt certainly is full of it. Racist Bolt certainly is one, just listen to him on the IPA podcast with his son James.
