The ABC is reporting and yes questioning the veracity of what is going on and it is the duty of responsible journalism to question everything on our behalf. It's why they are the most trusted news service in the country and News Corp is the the least.

Is that what is being said here when Bolt has revived the chicken little alarm again? Turnbull became leader because the party had no faith in Abbott's ability to beat Labor in an election. The polls showed he was on the nose about as welcome as a sack of prawns that had gone off. How is it the ultra conservatives like Bolt are now saying Abbott's a liar and he didn't fix the budget disaster? They weather cocks.  How can they even suggest he was a money manager when he took the ratio of spending to another 1.9% higher to GDP. To a record of 25.9%  In fact it went from 22% pre Howard to 24% under him. Abbott took it to 25.9% and said "I've fixed it" and now Bolt's propagandists are not supporting that lie and suggesting it's Turnbull's fault.and declaring hell has broken out in Liberal heaven bring Abbott back. Bolt's not the full quid.  It would seem the only thing on his no News Corp's agenda is an ultra conservative rebirth. Turning hurt feelings into a weapon against free speech

Bolt actually believes we live in an equal world and that our current laws  don't really reflect that. Bosses don't have the same right of abuse and vilification as do workers towards bosses. People like Bolt who distribute and broadcast opinion don't have the the same right of abuse as individuals  and he's calling foul under the guise of free speech which is he says unfair. He actually believes the laws that disallow abuse under the RDA are in fact unfair.

According to Bolt all areas are covered by our slander and defamation laws. However the rule of money in these cases insures inequality. It's equality that in fact is an existential threat to Bolt's natural order. Any effort to achieve equality in an unequal world is a threat to him. Men should be able to abuse women ,Bosses should be able to abuse workers and healthy  abuse the handicapped and they all should be allowed to abuse back. If feelings are hurt on either side each have the right to sue and that's what Bolt believes is equality. The freedom the right to be uncivil. What Bolt fails to acknowledge is that we live in a world of differential social  and hierarchical power  were all things in fact aren't equal. 

The RDA ensures that women in a man's world, the physically disadvantaged in a healthy world and the indigenous in a white world do have equality and protection from abuse and that right to that equality can be tested in our courts. Maybe Bolt should be arguing for the right of equality and not just the right to hate- speech the smoke screen to disguise the existential threat that real equality poses when speech is misused. I'm surprised more RDA claims aren't brought against Bolt very few actually do so the bullshit of "hurt feelings" hasn't created a flood of complaints. But then Bolt has a team of lawyers permanently shackling  him. Science and knowledge don't come easy and our youth need encouragement to enter scientific fields. This is a dark moment for the future of science in this country a future that will take years to reclaim because of todays moronic pen strokes. I guess we will watch our young scientists succeed when we read about their successes overseas. 9 million Chinese have left China in the past 5 years and we call them immigrants. They have resettled around the world. Bolt has already been convicted of defaming a judge. What should the new system be Mr Bolt? Should Bolt be allowed to submit a list of those in the justice system he feels are inappropriate? I challenge him to make that list. There still exists even here in Australia laws that pertain to  contempt of court. Would Bolt should challenge them please.Anything to stop the incessant Bolt whinging
