However, not so in Norway and other Scandanavian countries where the recidivism rate is much lower and rehabilitation the focus. One needs to ask why a murderer can't be a hero? Why has the media created this headline rather than what Ford did to prevent a terrorist from doing further harm? Afterall he did something "more than nice".

Perhaps it's the reason Bolt tends to attack the man rather than debate the work or what he said. Bolt even manages to stuff up this rebuttal! As per my emailed question to him, I don’t claim to have found this information. I quoted it to him and the precise page number on which it appears in Dark Emu. Reading comprehension: nil.

Bolt alleges: "Dark Emu – included incredible misquotations of its sources." What it shows, however, is Bolt has never read the book Pascoe didn't quote Sturt when referring to a "town of 1000" but Mitchell.

2) In his reference to dates, Bolt's is likened to a drunken sailor. When Judge Mordecai Bromberg pronounced Bolt guilty of Racial Vilification, he also found him guilty of slack and lazy journalism. Someone who had no care for facts but only his own ends as he's doing here. Trying to protect White Colonial History from its more than possible denial.

  If that were the case, could it be argued, what Bolt never addresses, is that he is a Nazi because of his heritage and connection to Aalsmeer. It's well documented. Oh, it's not an issue of race, but then neither is Judaism, but Hitler certainly made Judaism one. So why can't it be said Bolt is a Nazi? Simply saying no won't cut it.

Mitchell's "estimated" of numbers is fair enough. However, not according to Andrew Bolt, so when is a heap, a heap or an estimated 1000, not 1000? A Census report, not a Census report. Is an estimate simply a leap of faith, a Religion? Bolt's demand for absolute exactness doesn't seem to apply to the white man's history. Bolt looks as if he's trying to wriggle out of his embarrassment.
 There are an increasing number of Bruce Pascoe's around along with growing attention and new evidence. The demand for absolute exactness rather than probability is rarely found in history just as an absolute connection between smoking and cancer never has.  Bolt's insistence that human history needs to be based on "fact" rather than probability is counter to any human experience.

It seems rather a rush of desperation in the defence of white men's accumulation of historical "facts" as an exact interpretation of our past. It's ultimate absurdity to tell us history, as written, shouldn't be changed because it's somehow "exact". What Wanker Bolt is when he says " We are in a wild new world where facts do not count, at least to the Left. It's the side and the story."

 Somehow Bolt seems to find it astounding that after 200 years of being told and taught white history that one can find Aborigines that support what they have been taught. Jacinta Price is just an example of the uncertainty of the past that is open to be re-examined when new evidence arises. She's certainly not a reason for denial.  If whites or blacks question the past the only reason is new evidence not simply Bolt's name-calling that they are 'Left'. How shallow is that?
Basically, one needs to ask why has the man so blinkered and has such a tin ear? Bolt is obviously disturbed as he was when his attacks on Adam Goodes showed him up for what he is a denier that any White Colonial Racist system was in place and it's descriptive of our inglorious past.
 Globally British Colonial history has been exposed and is being rewritten about India, the West Indies Africa etc and the exploitation that was involved in so many places but not according to Bolt here in Australia. We as far as Bolt is concerned some marvellous benevolent exception of a British Colonisation quite different from anywhere else.

I do believe we heard Josh Frydenberg emphatically saying to Barry Cassidy that "We do believe in Climate Change. We do believe it's real and man-made. We do believe in the Science, and we will be taking affirmative action to reduce Co2 levels". In the Senate today, for example, independent Fraser Anning referred to “chardonnay socialists” and “left-wing doctors” virtue-signalling their compassion for people who – in his words – were not asylum seekers but “welfare seekers”. Yesterday’s Daily Telegraph ran a disgracefully Islamophobic cartoon, prompting former race discrimination commissioner Tim Soutphommasane to tweet: “This … is what fear mongering looks like. A reminder there are media outlets that perpetuate hateful stereotypes in our society.”

Matt Corman clearly stated this was to keep rapists, and pedophiles out of the country as if that's what asylum seekers are and that it's why these crimes exist. As for Turnbull, he's still a member of the Liberal Party if not an MP and is entitled to back or backstab anybody he wants. he unlike Tony Abbott resigned his parliamentary role which somehow escapes Andrew Bolt. It does, however, reflect his notion of Democracy it's with a very small d.

The fact is women in the Liberal Party know better than men what bullying is just as Transgender and Indigenous people do. It's not surprising White male Christian heterosexuals to say there is none it shows just how entrenched and deep their connection to white male privilege and colonial history their psyche still runs. The fact that Andrew Bolt proudly told us he had an Aboriginal friend at school and feel he needed to reflect that as did "some of my best friends are Jews". TURNBULL STEPS UP HIS REVENGE. HITS HUNT, FRYDENBERG

Malcolm Turnbull flies into Melbourne and promptly undermines two Liberal MPs being challenged by Turnbull-linked "independents". He praises Julia Banks, standing against Greg Hunt, as "outstanding". He says the Liberals shouldn't have resisted calling the banking royal commission, just as Treasurer Josh Frydenberg is under pressure to say sorry.

 I don't recall anybody calling Cory Bernardi a traitor when he left the Party. Abbott the conservatives praised him and they were still members of parliament and the Liberal Party. I do recall what Tony Abbott instigated being done to Peter Slipper. The Party bullies sent him to hospital. Abbott had all the other members pay back the misappropriation of funds including the $13k he took but not so Slipper's $900.
Turnbull might be a member of the Liberal Party but he's not a Parliamentary member and he's calling a spade a spade when he says the Flinders election will be interesting even Bolt seems to think so.

Turnbull's son is another kettle of fish and is entitled to be a member of the ALP if he so wishes it's big D Democracy isn't it or as I suspect Bolt is a firm believer in Nepotism.
So Abbott MP is entitled to cross government opinion and spend 2 years backstabbing, so much so, he pained his own constituents that a rush of Independents has arrived to challenge him. Turnbull Australian citizen needs to be shut down how does that work Andrew Bolt?

  Are LGBTIs treated differently in an emergency one might ask Cate McGregor that question she has seen what it's like to be on both sides of the fence and experienced the question that Daniel poses do LGBTi s need to think twice in how and what they can do in Australia? Can the drink water at the public well next to Daniel who seems overly disgruntled to be told transgender persons are treated differently and yes their lives are at greater risk than the general population. The man who claims Asylum Seekers are "illegals" and gave away the debating for a single podium and all resource format. It's why he 's a failed Uni student and the academic he mocks isn't.   I am struck by how many blog comments lately come from readers who clearly hate everything they read here - instinctively and often without evidence of thought. It's odd to find people so determined to hate what they read spending so much time reading it, and I'm sure there are more such critics here than usual. Is some activist group involved?

  Has Andrew Bolt begun to print these comments no! At most some selected ones. But he's right it's odd to find so many people reading it and I'm sure with informed replies. As Bolt has polled so high on so many distrust meters why should this post be any different? As for "instinctively and often without evidence of thought" is merely a smear that proves Bolt is doing exactly what he's criticizing. But Bolt does it on a daily basis. People watch porn it doesn't mean it's good.
  His obsession with the ABC, Waleed Aly and others is no different he'd have so much less to write he spend so much time checking out those in the hope they might mention him and whenever they do he lets all his readers know.
